Stranger Things Season 2

Netflix confirms Stranger Things Season 2 for 2017 with mysterious trailer

Given the reception and success of Stranger Things, it was practically a given that Netflix would renew it for a second season. While the cliffhanger alluded to a continuation of the sci-fi story, Netflix finally confirmed that the adventure will continue in 2017.

Netflix announced Stranger Things Season 2 with a cryptic teaser. With the iconic score in the background, the teaser rattles off a few phrases, which many believe will be the title of each episode in the season.

They are: “Madmax,” “The Boy Who Came Back to Life,” “The Pumpkin Patch,” “The Palace,” “The Storm,” “The Pollywog,” “The Secret Cabin,” “The Brain,” and “The Lost Brother.” That would indicate 9 new episodes to binge.

The teaser also concludes with “In the fall of 1984,” suggesting Stranger Things Season 2 will take place a year after Season 1, which was 1983.

While I’m skeptical a second season will have the same mysterious intrigue as the first, I’m excited nonetheless.
